Hi [emoji112]. Not really great tbh with introductions but here it goes lol.

So took ownership of a Subaru Impreza sti hawk eye after doing a swap for my previous car which was a Honda Civic Ek4 vti and mainly from a Renault Clio 172/182 background so so far really enjoying the drive of the Subaru.

I owned the civic for around a month was a cracking look car but just didn’t have the power I was used to as my last car was a Clio 182 turbocharged ( pics below) so wanted to come away from the civic and have power again and managed to do a cracking deal on a straight swap.

So here’s is a list of the spec of the Subaru currently running 355bhp forged engine.

I don’t have much knowledge on these cars so if anyone has tips or things to keep an eye on that would be great [emoji106].

Hi n welcome,  lovely looking hawk with some tasty upgrades . I have no idea what the civic was worth but it looks like you've got a £12k+ car in exchange [emoji41]

Wow the civic wasn’t worth as much as 12k but was extremely well looked after and in very good condition. But the new owner seems to be happy with it as he was a Honda enthusiast and was looking for one like the spec I had for a while.

But this is a total different machine. I don’t know much about them or that all I know is what work has been done to the car. What I would like to know though is what sort of power could I gain from the car having the spec that it has or am I best just keeping the power at 355 mark seems fast enough just wanted to know it’s potential really lol

Its difficult for me to say what hp the engine is capable of without knowing the full spec . As there's no mention of a upgraded oil pump , what type of wossner pistons (normally 2 different hp spec ) and I've never personally heard of zrp rods ect .

But by the looks of the rest of the build spec ,its looking like a 500hp (maybe more) build 😎

Will admit I've never built or owned a 2.5 ,so don't take my word for it though , bud .

I'd suggest to contact the company that built it and ask what hp spec they built it for . Maybe see If they have anymore info... like engine number ,just to make sure it's got that block in it and mileage when it was fitted ect
