SOLD Subaru Impreza WRX 300 For Sale!

Featured Replies

For sale is my Subaru Impreza WRX 300 (55 plate).

This is a limited edition vehicle with only 300 made. It has the Prodrive Performance Package fitted as standard. This upgraded 2.0L turbocharged engine provides 261 BHP and 348 NM of torque reaching 0-60 MPH in 5.9 seconds. The car has 14 service stamps from 18/02/06 right through to its last garage service on 16/01/19 which included a timing belt change. The car has an MOT til 26/01/2021. Mileage is just over 100,000 but will rise as still in use.

I purchased the car on 31/07/19 and in the time of my ownership I have carried out the following: full service, x2 auxiliary belt change, x4 wheel balance, radiator and coolant change, x4 drop link change, x4 MTEC dimpled and grooved discs fitted, x8 Brembo pads changed, x4 handbrake shoes changed. I have a folder full of receipts for work carried out prior to my purchase and a folder full of receipts for work I have carried out myself.

Bad bits: There is surface rust on the running gear and the wheel arches are starting to bubble. I would say this is to be expected for a car of this age in salty old England. The A/C does not work. I have replaced the belt as this was shabby but no success. I would like to think a re-gas would fix it. The boot smells damp but I have physically sat in the boot with it shut and had someone spray a garden hose all over and there were no leaks. There is the odd scratch and mark here and there but nothing major.

Good bits: This car has been well looked after and really does look great. It is mechanically reliable and regularly travels long distances. It sounds awesome and in 2nd gear pulls like a freight train. I grin every time I drive it.

I have had fun fixing up the car. I have had fun driving the car. It was my childhood dream to own a Scooby. The reason for sale is that I am restoring a Porsche and this project has already taken far too long and I really need to plough more time and money into the restoration.

Any questions please text Joe on 07838537718 or message me on here. I work pretty unsociable shifts but I will get back to as soon as I can. Car is in Sutton-In-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire.

Asking price: £7500 ONO.
