Hi new to subies and to forums.

Just bought 2011 WRX Sti mint. Would like to have engine deep cleaned, have seen endless youtube vids saying should cover electrics others saying not necessary. Any suggestions must be plenty of subie owners out there with gleaming engine bays! Any thoughts thanks Rob.

 

My own approach is to cover the alternator and battery with a supermarket shopping bag the only reason being water and wigglies dont mix and these both have a perm 12v live connection - other than that I leave exposed for cleaning
