Hello all. 

I currently run an 07 2.0 forester. But looking for a newer model. I've seen a 2011 diesel boxer engine on 155k miles for £2900. My ask is, is this a good buy in terms of engine life and in terms of potential issues that model and year have? Its in good condition  and has been well looked after by previous mechanic owner with all history.

Wotcha and welcome - Unfortunately Subaru do not do a great diesel engine, bearing failures are a regular occurance due to gearbox / crank misaligment - I would look for a petrol option if possible
