Can anyone tell me what this is - it is a metal piece that is in-line on the Diesel Fuel pipe coming from Fuel Filter going to Pump on my 2015 Diesel XV

 

 

Hi there, not sure what that is but it could be a non return valve to stop the fuel running back from the fuel pump 👍

I'm pretty sure it's a fuel check valve, non return valve as @stuartie has said.
