Nimpy
Hi I have noticed a leak of power steering fluid from around the pump, I can't see anything obvious, banjo bolt is tight, can't see any flow of fluid. Is there a place where it commonly leaks from? Cheers for any help 🙂
David Wilkinson
Hi mate I had a similar problem. There is an O ring between the pump reservoir and the pump itself that can be the usual culprit. Hope you manage to get it sorted ok.

Nimpy
All done, if that isn't the cause I guess a new power steering pump is next! Though I just noticed my rear offside brake caliper leaking, and the fluid stripping the paint off the wheel 😔can't believe it, fix one thing, another springs up!
David Wilkinson
Great job mate, thanks for the pictures too. You’ve done a good job. Thats a shame about the brake fluid leak. Is it coming from the brake hose?
Nimpy
Cheers David, Sadly not, appears to be a seal that has gone. Car is going into the body shop tomorrow, its literally round the corner so not an issue, but the brakes will have to wait until I get it back. I've rebuilt motorbike brakes, I can't imagine these being any worse. Just a real nuisance!
