Hi all,  just wondered if anyone knows whether a JDM STi needs beam deflectors?  I've got a set just in case but I'd rather not use them as I've had damaged headlights after using them in the past.  Are the beams flat enough as is or is there a way of changing the beam direction within the lamp?

Can't you just set them low with the dial in the dash?

That's a good point actually 😄.  I've been working from home for the last two and a half years, so haven't driven in the dark for at least that long.  I can't actually remember what the beam pattern is like (whether or not it kicks up to the left).  I just don't want to give the French fuzz any excuses for a fine 😁.

They do go up at the right end. You'll have to fit the deflectors or not drive in the dark over there.
