Great, im in the process of trying to get the body work into a decent state as i got it cheap and the arches are a bit gone, ill try get some pictures up soon

Sound's like a nice little project car if everything else is ok with the engine. And shouldn't worry to much we have a few on here that are in repair with rust :)

yea its nice to have planning on getting another engine and forging it but engine seems good at the mo, still pulls like a train.

That's the main thing at least if the engine's running fine free some money to do the repairs to the body work :)

yea, im just hoping that it makes it through the mot without any major problems

But most thing's are easy to fix with these if you have some tool's. And depends how your M.O.T guy is too. But I will keep positive for you it will will pass ;)

I use poly rubber clay bars for detailing in poor weather, also there's many a quick detailing sprays that will add a layer of wax to the car even in rain, autoglym aqua wax is good stuff

Auto glym wax or polish ?

polish - got two bottles of the stuff - one normal white runny stuff the other super resin or something I would have to look....?

hahaha i managed to get my mate to machine polish it last weekend so its looking pretty good

takes some rubbin to get it off once set thats for sure :D

So it says shake thoroughly before use on it then ;)
