JJ Michaels Posted August 6, 2024 Posted August 6, 2024 Hello All, So recently changed the Fuel pump from standard to a walbro 255lh - noticed after exiting corners the car briefly cuts out as you throttle for the exit (track car) Is this a fuel reg problem, or is the new pickup filter bag on the pump crap? It is smaller than the original bag. Car has well over half a tank of fuel. Cheers
Dr. Acula Posted August 7, 2024 Posted August 7, 2024 I may be wrong, but it can be an engine oil level related problem (oil starving)
Tidgy Posted August 7, 2024 Posted August 7, 2024 I would doubt its oil as you wouldnt get a drop in power unless the engine blows itself up, i would lean more towards fuel starvation caused by the cornering. I would try it wth a totaly full tank vs a low tank and see what you get, may need to baffle the tank.
Dr. Acula Posted August 8, 2024 Posted August 8, 2024 In some applications a sensor for oil level cuts out fuel. 1
