Hippo
My 2021 Outback seems to have very bright dazzling headlights going by the amount of people that flash their lights at me and today some very rude fella got a bit verbal too not that this bothers me but I wonder if others are finding this. Mr B
modern vehicle lighting is becoming a problem from too bright to multi function of one light so you loose side/dip function when indicating and unusual position/volume of lighting that seems fall out of general lighting legislation and certainly falls outside of good common sense . Very poor design/engineering that likely going create quite a few accidents . That modern garbage though, nothing but expense and problems . ron_d
I also experience this with 2021 Outback (getting flashed). Self leveling does not adjust fast enough after small bumps and dips.
Barry G
When you are used to driving modern cars and hop back in the 25 year old Impreza at night, its lights do seem very dim and everything else is blinding me. I assume the Outback is passing its MOT? Have you parked it facing a wall at night to look at the beam pattern? Is there lots of light bleed above the beam cut off? Hippo
Thanks everyone and yes it’s passed the MOT ok and the beams look ok when driving as well, I know I get dazzled myself by some other cars so maybe it’s a modernish car syndrome
