Nwil33 Posted Thursday at 09:40 AM Posted Thursday at 09:40 AM Hi, I have been using this forum for a while it is is a fantastic resource and I wondered if anyone can help me. I have a U.K. spec 2010 Outback Diesel BR 150bhp. The DPF was full of ash so I asked my local mechanic in Stoke on Trent to take it off and get it cleaned. that part of the process all went ok but the sensors in the DPF need replacing. Subaru parts don’t have a record that my car has a DPF and so can’t identify any sensors. I can’t find any on 3rd party parts sites either. anyone out there had this problem, or knows what part numbers I need for my DPF? The Subaru dealer is now talking to Subaru but this is an email conversation so might take ages. Thanks Neil
Nwil33 Posted Thursday at 01:16 PM Author Posted Thursday at 01:16 PM Sorry - panic over Subaru themselves have found it so i can now get the parts I need :-)
olliesgrandad Posted yesterday at 11:36 AM Posted yesterday at 11:36 AM I didn't realise my 2022 XV eboxer had a petrol particulate filter until a light came on telling me it needed to be regenerated! That involved driving it in manual gear mode without cruise control at 2500 rpm at over 40mph until the light went out - fortunately I live near the M5 and it took a run at 60mph to the next junction to clear it (about 15 minutes).
