Hi all. Looking for a engine for my type r as mine has gave up on me. Looking for something that I can just drop in with the minimal of work. Mine is a version 4. Hope there is Somone that can help me.

I was looking at them on eBay but have that hole worry of what am I buying. I have put a bid on a forged engine with 5 bottom and 4 heads on it. But the boy is giving me the run around.

Could be worth asking Tlag or Bip. They've usually got something lying around their garage.

Bip is one of the moderators on here. He has a small garage in Coventry that he runs with his Dad, Tlag. They build and fit Subaru engines, among other things.

Ask for Martin top bloke couldn't fault him one bit. I didn't know he had engine other wise I would have text him and asked for you :) 

 

And Ash it's because the details was in white had to paste and highlight it all then click the black colour ;)
