Mtb154 Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 Just put a Pipercross panel filter in the Fozzy, cant notice any improvement in performance but sounds a little bit more throaty.
Jay762 Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 it will be breathing easier so now you could look at the exhaust ;) but be careful it is a slippery slope, multiple maps and nitros are only an overdraft away :D 1
Gambit Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 I don't think anyone does notice a difference with a filter or induction kit change. But as Jay said once you start looking the pounds soon go down :D
Mtb154 Posted December 30, 2013 Author Posted December 30, 2013 What do you think? I asked the guy in the shop if it needs oiled and he said most scooby owners dont oil them as they cause probs with the maf sensor. Is this correct? Should I use it dry when I do clean it?
Gambit Posted December 30, 2013 Posted December 30, 2013 He told you right mate I don't know anyone who uses oiled on a scooby. And at least he had an idea what he was talking about unlike me ;)
Petrolhead159 Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 lol that explains a lot…got a drop in K&N Panel filter on mine (simply because it is renewable), after cleaning it up & re-oiling i had a month or 2 with the engine light keep coming on, since I have the resetting tool i didn't pay too much attention to it.Looks like i will clean & drop it in dry next time.
