March 31, 201312 yr I so wanted to say cooking oil ;) But I wont :D I use a named brand fully Synthetic 10W-40 I find it the best all year round oil for me but your owner's manual will say 5w-30
March 31, 201312 yr I would always say use what you feel is best. I do have mods but can't see why you would have any problems using the 10W-40 And I was told by a bloke who rebuilds blown Subaru engine's that 10W-40 was best to use in any scoob. But I have a mate who is using 5w-30 he's had no problems so far. But you can't go wrong with either I guess
