Pommy Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 I have 4 pot calipers up front and was wondering if drilled and grooved discs make that much difference on a road car? Has standard discs in good condition at the moment. Will upgrade pads but not sure about discs. And the same with the rear Ta
Gambit Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 They do make a difference to breaking from the standard disc's and pads. Also upgrading the hose should give you a noticeable feel too :D I'm looking at doing all of the above once I've sorted the caliper problem out :D
Jay762 Posted January 6, 2014 Posted January 6, 2014 echo what Gambit said but if the discs are in good condition at the moment just doing the hoses with braided items and flushing through with fresh Dot 5.1 will make a difference to feel
Pommy Posted January 8, 2014 Author Posted January 8, 2014 Thinking I will do the front discs and pads and rear pads at the moment, and then in the future do the rest, money permitting.
Pommy Posted January 9, 2014 Author Posted January 9, 2014 Well I have ordered front pads and discs (came as a deal) so should be fitting them in the next month. Doing exams at the moments so not much time for my car :(
