bitman
While driving I noted a funny sound coming from behind the instument cluster. it's hard to describe what the sound is but it's like you move your hands trough a staple of dry leaves. What can this be?
Gambit
Safe to say I'm not sure mate sorry :( I'd be tempted to remove the fascia/surround pull it out give it a little Fonzie blow, and put it back see what happens might be a lose connection. stants
If you remove the access pannel below the steering column you should be able to see up and round behind the centre console. And up behind the clocks. The piping for the blowers runs across the top of firewall maybe has leaves in ?
bitman
That is very well possible as she was from a farmer from new... And the amount of dust etc I have removed from the lugage compartment is inmens ;)
Jay762
sounds like leaf or leaves trapped either in the fan or in the trunking, does it change pitch when you turn the fan up or down / disappear when fan turned off?

Anyway. Do you have the grilled scuttle area inbetween the bonnet and windscreen ? Mines full of dry leaves and i've not worked out how to remove them without taking half the front off. Might not be the cause of the noise or could be making their way in somehow ?
