well having owned my 2005 wrx for 2 months I can honestly say I've loved every minute

But it has developed the weirdest feeling when under easy braking and easy acceleration

Its almost as if something sticks at the rear passenger side then lets go again proper hard to describe

to u guys but I hope u get the jist

(it kinda holds the back of the car up in higher at 1 side)

I'm thinkin its a dodgy shock

also when under easy braking it feels like the discs r something is warped u can feel the brakes tightin

and release as ur stopping wud lik to hear abit of input in2 this

Cheers

Jay

so thursday night a couple of Scottish wines and I read that post then thought !Removed! ell hes thanking me and I havent even answered yet :D

brakes could be a warping as you have said although dependant on speed that feels more like a juddering on the pedal - similar to when you get the ABS kicking in on older cars

Is your foot constant on the brake pedal - if not could be slighty sticky pistons in the calipers which are binding slightly then releasing as the pressure is released.

If you are standing on the pedal and holding it could be abs but that is a long shot.

thinking prob sticky pistons

no def not abs I know that feelin ;-)

my foot is constant on the pedal ans the brakes kick in instantly

I think the best way to describe it is imagine ur in the seat comin to a stop and u feel urself rockin back and 4ward ( lik a mental patient lol ) that's wat im getting everytime I come to a stop at low speeds

also the other thing I was on about wit the suspension r these 2005 wrx's famous for sticky or duff rear shocks ??

Cheers

Jay

The 2005 Blobeye in the garage is a pain for rear shocks from the day it was bought. I've been just jacking the !Removed! end up and spraying silicone grease < this on them never lasts long few months then comes back, but long enough for it not to do my head in good few months maybe 4.

The way you described the rocking reminds me of a tremor I could feel after an earthquake in Pakistan just felt !Removed! and I was sober as a judge. Maybe it's a few bushs or the rear shocks have gone or maybe It's windy every time you drive or possibly aliens.

Have you had any luck with this yet?

It sounds like your rear brakes are sticking. It can be cured by taking the pads out and cleaning the slider mechanism. Grease the rod before putting the caliper back on.

I've only ever experienced it on front brakes, but the way you describe it, it sounds like rears.

I've been in an earthquake too is the craziest thing ever like you felt like my legs was drunk but head was clear. And I hadn't been drinking

I'm thinking I might PM Cusco on here for my front breaks to be sorted or get a set off him I'm just not getting the time to look at mine and I know my fronts sticking and warped the discs I've also gone through 2 sets of pads in no time :(
