What would you like to see ?

Hi Guys and Girls,

Obviously SOC is a new club and just starting out, as such for a while it is going to be quiet and take time to get established.

There is a bonus however is that it is also a blank canvass in regards to a Subaru owners club, it does not have a pre determined set up or areas like most other clubs. We also appreciate there

are many other well established clubs out there and that naturally the majority of SOC members will belong to other clubs. We see this as a benefit as members will have experience of frequenting other

clubs and forums and therefore can participate in this thread.

With the above in mind how would you like to see SOC going forward so that we can build a family friendly enthusiast site ?

All ideas and thoughts welcome and its something we can take onboard as we develop.

How about a motorsport and rally section where all us petrolheads can post up or share info about events or motorsport news?

Many of us follow BTCC, F1, Rallying etc....................... :)

also we need a general chat, for no related Scooby stuff, a none car part sales bit and maybe one for insurance so too maybe attract discount, monthly pic and maybe like advice/knowledge area, and an area dedicated to unwinding.

All be noted before but like the thinking. :) I would say just use Subaru General Chat for now for stuff non related. the insurance is a new idea but was used on my old clubs forum and AF use to post on there himself so like that idea too ;) I've asked for a Junk room for just random fun, pictures there is a thread started already that's been going well just need more pictures adding pit girls ;)

Alright slags,has anyone mentioned an idea, like what companies use i'e a store locator.execpt we'd use it as a member locator.not exact address and bra size, just like area like I'd be sexual transmitter location Aldershot. I know we have it on our profile, but it would be a good visual for members to see where we all are on like a uk map

Just used my brain,no not seen it anywhere else.( someone would of done it) you could have a uk map with coloured drop pin in it and when you hover over it would flash up the members user name. Not sure where you put it on the site though?

Regional sections, with dealerships, other competent workshops, breakers and links to other local enthusiasts? Possibly more regional stuff I can't think of off the top of my head.

Thats what we're hoping the regional section will be used for to find more local members that love the passion of Subaru's and Dogging in my case ;) HERE

 

I've been trying to get some breakers yards to come on here all seem not to bothered maybe it's my picture :D But I guess they are easy to be shot at if they have a problem with a part. so prefer to stay away but I will keep on pestering them. Like I do when I see a really attractive woman stood at a bus stop 

 

And I have been thinking about having a bit for the Subaru specialists like Martin(AKA 555) Bips and Tlag MD peformance if he comes back on. So people can look to see where local garages are for repairs. or ones we like ;) that have good feedback.

I'd like to see Subaru specialists and breakers on here. I don't like the nobby atmosphere on another well known forum but I've found the Breakers to be invaluable....so I have to keep going to that cr@p site.

 

I'd also like to see Gambit in a shirt  :P

The breakers I can work on I will give your man an email who you was on about you can always help twist his arm. As for shirt I'm like Jordan when she is short on cash or wants to be in the paper again, I only do topless photo's am afraid :D

Do you guys intend on going to car shows , as a group or have a stand at say japfest etc or jae at wick stead park

Or even an annual meet at a track or ace cafe in London that's what the did when I was a member of the ftooc .

Or even a monthly article on someone's pride and joy

We have details of all events and local meets down the forum mate. As for a yearly annual meet I would love to get one set up. I was going to look at one this year in Lincoln City though along the river head but not been able to speak with anyone from the council. I would love to get a subaru track weekend at cadwell park like what Spar do once a year [emoji30]

I know there's lots on internet but there all different some sort of dummies guide

Maybe by a tuner/ remapper who knows what we need to do to get the best out of the car .

Sometimes if there is to much info it gets confusing

Let's say in stages 1 to whatever lol

1 being 250 e.g filter cat back ,remap

2 being 270 etc etc .

And I keep toying with the idea of speaking with Simon but no he's super busy and I would say he gets so many requests to come on forums I talk myself out of it.

I had spoke with the local mappers to me he came on but was messaging me through facebook giving advice so I've not asked him again haha I will try some more though I do think it's needed
