jorgen
I've got big issue. Today morning I saw that I have damaged one tyre. Now what I need to do, buy one or four? Wysłane z mojego GT-I9300 przy użyciu Tapatalka
stants
I'd buy a pair but that's just me. Can you get the same brand replacement if you bought one ? What are the remaining 3 like regards to wear ? If you can get away with just buying 1 should be fine
jorgen
Ok. But it will be safe to drive when I'll be have on four tyres the same size but different brands ? Wysłane z mojego GT-I9300 przy użyciu Tapatalka
Jay762
I try and match pairs as the same make / tread pattern as what happens with mismatched patterns is they work against each other and wear out faster. dependant on how much wear is on the rest of the tyres eg if they are near new just go for the one of the same make / tread pattern if they are past half way I would replace the pair
stants
Obviously grip and handling will be affected but if you can get one that is at least the same brand as one of the others at least you'll have a pair with the tread patterns the same on the same axle. As your not doing 100mph plus all day 4 different ones would be ok. Ride and noise is another factoe to consider

Mr B
I always recommend matched set to axle in terms of make & tread depth too as too much difference is a bad thing on your transmission. If all tyres are quite well worn you could buy a full set as indeed all 4 matched is the preference but not absolute requirement ...
