So giddy today, spent an hour fitting my new smoked headlights and interior bulbs on the bug. Here are the pics.

Obviously they had to be pink interior lights :D

I think the headlights suit the car with the car being a darkish colour. Some of the light connectors took some yanking out lol.

Being a rufty-tufty northern belle I dare say you had no real issue with that - how many tools were hurled across the drive in the process?? :D

if your tinting the lights i would give this stuff a go, clicky it's cracking stuff as you can see in the video, also you can better suit the colour to what you want than with tint film and fly eyes is road legal whereas tint film isn't

Just looked at it, looks good, think I will buy some of that, just need to measure the wagons lights.

they did a bug eye for the video so would probably know what amount you need if you contact them

Well today I tinted the rear lights, thanks to Miggs for the suggestion of the flyeyeskit. Was a pain in the rear to put on but I did I good job for my first time.
