Open the rear windows when drivin. Can hear ιt a lot better then lol.

I don't go above 2k till my temp gauge ιs in the normal position for about 10 mins

I go about 10 to 15 mins before I will try over take or give it anything. I have to just take it on the chin when I see little old Ethel over taking me in her Suzuki swift :D 

OK gonna fit the pipercross air filter today - does it need oiling from new as I have read conflicting views ?

oiling it will screw up your MAF so leave it dry

2nd that don't oil it ever mate :) 

My pipercross one states ιts a dry filter!!

How does this sound folks - £480 for oil service and full cambelt change (Gates kit) to inc pulleys, tensioner and water pump ?

I thought it was OK but what do I know !

Did ask Matt's contact and he was a good price but went with Savage's in the end as he is mobile if need be - both good prices though and very little in it.

I am getting all the gear which suits me even though the onus is on me not to f£ck up on bits !

Fitted me piper cross filter yesterday and while 'fiddling with the car noticed both back windows tilt a bit when they go down and back up - any ideas ? Nothing drastic mind an inch or so.

At a guess it's had bigger speakers fitted to the back and it's catching as it goes down.

I have had windows 'drop' a bit before on various cars.

Only thing I can think of I know I've had to make MDF rings to pull mine away from the door to allow them to go down, but know some people have just put them as they don't use the rear windows
