know what your going to say....... leaky intercooler pipe / joint. well ive checked all the joints and the intercooler and cant see anything. its not a bad noise and only started doing it since i sorted the split intercooler pipe and change manifold.and put on a trick up pipe  am wondering if it something to do with the up pipe changing the note? you would almost think it was a air leak squeel but its not. only does it out on the road and when its under load and starting to boost up?

not that kind of sounds dave /  gambit. am thinking it maybe more to do with the new up pipe. well hope so as a leak is going to be a ****** to find

ahhh will maybe take fmic pipes off the morn just to be on the safe side and also maybe put on some new joint clamps

to look for a leak before the turbo, spray brake cleaner on the pipes/joins etc. if it sucks any in, the revs will rise slightly

to try and find one after the turbo, use soapy water and just look for bubbles appearing

might be worth checking the play in the turbo shaft as well - as you had a split it may be that having full pressure has strained it, unlikely but just a suggestion

Think it was a loose clamp as went round them all tightening them and seems a lot better now. Will leave it for a while and see what happens. Cheers for all your help peeps
