Jeff1980
Hey guys just had my car in for a compression test and one of the cylinder number 2 it says is 35psi below the rest. Not good. They say they would have to take the engine out to have a look at a cost of a grand to investigate further. Is this a good price? Any ideas what it could be? Probably ringland failure? Jay762
a grand to take the engine out is a bit steep as it is quite straight forward and can be done quite quickly by experienced staff. do they mean they will be taking it out and stripping the unit down as part of the work or is that just lifting it out of the bay?
