cracked screen :(

I've got a small dash top heater for in my work van, saw windscreen was frozen this morning so I plugged it in 10 mins before I was due to leave. somehow it moved out of it's holder and rested against the screen, when I went to go out I spotted a crack in the screen :(, on my journey to work it has been snakeing it's way across the screen.

oh well, £90 excess, not too bad

One of my old work vans the heaters didn't work and the water bottle had a hole in the bottom. I used to have to chuck coffee over it whilst driving along :D never cracked the screen once ;)

But gutted I take it must have been a small chip in the screen somewhere to have cracked like that :(

Touch wood I've never had a cracked windscreen :( but seen loads start from chips in the screen. Guess a few people don't find Gavin from Autoglass  that attractive to pop round and put his resin in ;)

Oh right I did wonder I have a chip in the screen and never had it sorted just incase but it hasn't got any worse either. More annoyingly I even watch in slow mo the stone come up from an oncoming Ford KA tyre towards the center of the screen and BANG! fish and chips is there :(

once in the old days i used to have some competition subs, a small stone hit the screen and i was literally on the way to those free guys on the parking lots that add resin and boom was a full blown spider web haha.

i've got a tiny chip in my windscreen, tiny tiny thing. So I took it to autoglass,  the chap took one look at it and said it was an old chip that they have already repaired. The only thing to do was leave it or get a new windscreen. -.-
