Hi im after a fuel filler pipe for a wrx sti impreza 97 not sure if its a v3 or v4

also rear anti roll bar.

Thanks

Different model year fuel filler pipes will fit, I have A 2008 on my classic I believe, although I don't know the changeability.

How sure are you fella.got a wagon r in scrappy will that fit?

Would the arb fit too?

Try import carparts 76quid will buy a brand new one, they are notorious for going rusty so if yiu can stretch i'd buy new at least you won't have any problems

Or have a peek through the many pages from this seller

http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Grade-A-Subaru

I'm not sure about the fits between models, but I know visually that mine is a different size than the old one. Sorry I don't know more but this is one of the few jobs I got a garage to do, they said it was from a newage model, and I believe them. Sorry I'm not more help. Try what Stanton said, although it is a common problem with rust so a new one may be needed.

sniff test/pressure test tomortow after 16:00.

let you know

K mate. Good luck hopefully all be fine :)

so bled system...loads of air came out fan kicked in popped cap on went for little drive off boost....steam pouring from bonnet vents when i slowed nursed her home leaking from botton rad hose which is done up tight?temp srnsor was spot on never rose

So sounds promising then just need to look at getting this rad sorted all being well :)

is there a possibility its head gasket causing too much pressure forcing colent out via bottom hose?

no oil water mix coolent looks fine.

If life has taught me, anything is possible. The Sniff test should prove if it is or isn't. But you managed to run it with only a water leak today. Thats a good thing with no over heating issue

so impreza passed sniff test....mechanic has warned me hes seen this before and head still cracked or block.

So he drained fliud removed thermostat and tested it....thermostat not working so fingers crossed.Awaiting a fone call tomoz

Nice one least its getting sorted mate and must be a big weight off your mind

gotta be honest im no further along just yet...could still be serious head/block issue.

Was hoping to have a answer tonight but suppose all i can do is wait.Pain having to pay even more cash out on a car i cant drive.

Heyho tomorrows another day.

Saga continues ill add nxt installment tomorrow.

Well Seeing as you are having problems with the coolant and there is no signs of exhaust gasses I would look at that as you are at least 80% clear mate ;)

Liking the thought of that fella...think it could just be the thermostat?

Or do you fancy a stab in the dark at whats next?

It is possible by all means to be the Thermostat it gets too hot the water has to blow out from somewhere. I think a mixture of a badly plumbed in rad and the faulty thermostat air locks has been the problem. But as said you never really can tell but so far everything is pointing to a positive engine :)

So latest chapter..heads blown on impreza so sold a lemon by someone on here.

Gutted cant believe someone would do that to another human being.

Now ive a car i paid £3300 drove for 1hour and spent money on it to be on the back of a lorry.

Finally made its last trip on the lorry to a chap called Andy Hinamen of AR Racing based 10mins from my flat whos a friend of a friend and known subaru god.Running 500bhp in his own scooby.Straight away told me head blown so he is going to tear her apart and bring her back to life.

Cosworth gaskets arp bolts fueling ecu check and everything in between.also gives a 5,000mile warrenty on all his work.

Now im not putting a figure up as it may well be mates rates but its under £1,300

so in his words she will be future proof when i get her back.

Next friday i hope to be driving her home all going well.

If you need a scooby specialist who knows them.inside out i can direct you his way.

More to follow im sure.

:-( sorry to hear the bad news, have you mailed the seller ? I know it's not an excuse but we're not all bad and i understand why your vexed,

Sound like you have a good mate who will buold you a superb engine all i can say is keep the faith and hopefully good news and things will come

previous owner told me that he was unaware how id driven the car home and as far as hes concerned i drove it like a ****....

So the fact that he told me the rad was replaced because of a stone chip yet ac rad is fine seems wierd.i drove home at 80mph not pushing car as new to me and wanted to get used to her before giving her the beans.

Angry...withoit a doubt going to pop back to his house and tear him to pieces thought about it but im a nice person and karmas a ****** i hope he gets what he deserves.

And i end up with a strong reliable motor to make my own.I already have a great clib im proud to be apart of.

Thanks
