ok jay the code i got are 31/45/24  the check would be off i dont want to damage engine on dynamic mode you have to rev the car or drive it and i dont so this is why i done it why it was off

31 was=

Throttle position (TP) sensor - signal malfunction Wiring, TP sensor, ECM

45 was =

Manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor/MAP sensor control valve - circuit malfunction Wiring, MAP sensor, ECM

24 =Idle air control (IAC) valve - circuit malfunctionWiring, IAC valve, ECM

check the others - scoobies are lumpy on idle anyway but if this is something you are not familiar with its looking like something different, I believe the compression test is a red herring in itself unless something else has been disturbed putting the tool in place and removal etc.

Try disconnecting the maf as its an easy check although as you have changed it recently it is probably not the cause.

when doing the compression test all valves - throttle etc should be open to get the air in when cranking the engine - has anything been disconnected in order to make that happen?

i will get my boy to look tonite....jay     im thinking itnot firing on all four cylinders now i dont no about mechanical stuff but to me it could be that as couple days ago i was playing with another scooby on the A road and got like a red line feeling pulling away in low gears like a flat spot no more power to give until i changed gear ( i was driving hardish ) and not much power over 100mph does this add up to my feeling of cylinder not firing ? car has been running well untill i gave it a little welly the other day lol

i dont no but would it be idea to have it port and polished when or if i need it removed ? would that make any diffrence to car at all ?

sorry for all these Qs buddy but i dont no what to try  after the sensors  maybe atempt to remove block and see ...not bad for a beginer lol

did find damaged coil pack now changed but still no diffrent  .....i wont let this beat me

hmmm - it may something as simple as an air leak - did this all start after you gave it some beans or after the compression test? As you may have got a loose connection or a new split appeared.

porting and polishing heads different story - its great if you are going the full del monte like Savage and that sleeper he has put together - it works well in conjunction with other mods but doesnt necessarily have to be done just because the heads are off

Seeing as you've got a few codes up and all the sensors that are giving the codes are on the inlet manifold .

id check your engine earth's and the two grey engine loom plugs (one near the Battery one near the maff) are free from corrosion /conected

Check you haven't knocked off /split any vacuum pipes and do a ecu reset

ok all air pipes checked no leaks ...but my son removed  a pipe from front mount intercooler and car run fine ...so there seems to be a problem i added this fmic about 2 months ago could this be my problem my car has not been mapped  should i return to the top mount intercooler untill i get a map....

just curious jay but wy could a front mount intercooler cause this to happen ......trying to find original top mount intercooler to go for test drive
