stants
Sounds like it could be the slave cylinder, normally a rebuild changing the seals or a replacement unit
Andy Hayes
Right it goes when clutch is in. Is that a big job??
stants
I'd deffo say it was the slave then, do you loose a little fluid from around the cylinder another good indicator ? With regards to cost i've no idea on subarus to be honest, but obviously a rebuild kit will be the cheaper option. But will involve removing and stripping down the unit so if you cant be arsed just buy a new one and change it
Andy Hayes
No mate never lose any fluids on both of cars. Just had a look on eBay there only round 50 quid so not bad just how hard it is to fit lol cheers pal
stants
I'm sure someone should be able to answer that, i've not done it on the subaru so wouldn't like to say. I guess access will be the biggest thing as they are usually located fairly close to the otherside of the bulkhead somewhere on the transmission tunnel, being 4wd i'm not sure what else may be in the way
