April 13, 201411 yr hi all just bought my very first subaru n already i'm loving it i will try and post some pics in the gallery once i have had chance to get it washed n waxed ;) but for now here a little bit of info (sorry for noobish description) 1997 impreza wagon Auto in Mica Green it's 2l non turbo but hoping to pick a turbo engine and manual box for it but since funds are limited and there's just so much i want to do with it this car will be a long term project due to Mrs and finances lol... anyways hope to give and receive info as i always join the OC forums for any car i get as it tends to be the best place for info and to meet people with a similar mind set as me towards the cars i buy.
April 13, 201411 yr Hi mate welcome to S.O.C look forward to seeing the pictures. And about the turbo engine had a few people look into this before it's cheaper to buy the turbo WRX/STI in the long run. But I think if you could by a rear ended write off and can do it yourself could work as you have all the parts to swap. :)
