merlinhorse
I have had two Forester's and so far had to replace three clutches after using them for 6,500 miles each. I have contacted customer service but they seem to suggest NO one else has any problems - They acknowledged my recent submission on the 4th of April and said they would reply in 5 working days, - so far no reply! Both vehicles are ex demo models under three years old at the time of failure. Are there any other members with the same problem? MERLINHORSE. Mr B
Exact models please, diesel/petrol etc, also what usage ? towing as example ! Have seen very little clutch issues in general, dual mass flywheels can be a problem. driving style can be a problem. When inspected what is failing in clutch assembly & what symptoms do you get !? Gambit
Hi mate welcome to S.O.C Sorry to hear about the problems :( I've never heard of anyone burning through that many clutches in that short of time :( I would have to ask what do you use them for ?
