tje
My brake fluid is above the max level. Probably about an 1-1.5 inches above it. Am I safe in just getting some fluid out. Or do I need to bleed and refill the system? Thanks.
Gambit
I would say it will be safe mate but you could always just take some out if you wanted for peace of mind. Or drain and refill I guess wouldn't do any harm either. I've overfilled mine before I used a bit of cloth to soak it up.
BoozyDave
It should be fine, but if you want to take some out just use a turkey baister.
bitman
buy a syringe at boots for a couple pennies and take some out till max marker and your OK just make sure to clean the cap before you open to prevent debris getting in the fluid and keep the cap on as much as possible to keep the air / moister out. i have a couple different sizes syringes for different jobs like (small) power steering fluid, brake fuid and (large) diff fluid.
