bitman Posted May 21, 2014 Share Posted May 21, 2014 this shows that for pulling BHP isn't important but torque is. this torque is also created by the large wheels of the steam tractor but another thing counts too, weight. as that diesel tractor can't even pull the steam tractor when pulling the brakes on, it just digs it self's in. having seen many heavy haulage tractors they always have extra weight on the driving wheels.
