Skiv
So after some google searching of Adrian flux reviews there is nothing but bad reviews can anyone on the forums say if they have had any experience with the company good or bad? Gambit
I will refer back to it being easier to find bad complaints to good feedback. Flux have been doing insurance for the club scene as far back as I can remember. And from being in other clubs it was always mixed reviews main complaint was the renewal quotes most of the time, but like us we have Dan they all have someone to help on the forums with complaints and to look at members issues to try fix it. But for me like 90% of other insurance companies have all mixed reviews the biggest one I have ever had a problem with was 1st Central worst insurance ever had it one year I wanted out with in the 1st 3 weeks. But couldn't because I had gone past the 14 days cool off. :(
Skiv
This is a very true fact actually most people that are happy with the company just get on wife and don't really leave reviews, ah yea now 1st cereal I have heard nothing but bad things to be honest haha, I guess all I can do is get my quote from Adrian if it's cheaper give it a go and see what it's like for myself :D hopefully it's cheaper than what iv had so far, thanks :D Sent from my iphone using Tapatalk
tom_gr7
I think most people have dealings with insurance companies once per year, renewal time. Even if this goes smoothly, we still don't have a positive word to say about ins companies as its so damn expensive and a cost most of us could probably do without. Yet when something goes south we are first to complain.

Touch wood I haven't had too, I've been with mine for 9 years now and only ever had one problem with them which was pretty quickly sorted out. insurance does my head in pi$$ me off how expensive and always seems to be worse every year and its the ones that don't have crashes that seem to get penalised. And yet I drive past brokers in the town and all have top of the range Audis, Mercedes , BMW's parked on the front. Hell I know one that the receptionist has a company car that drives around in a Bentley and he has a Ferrari. :o start to wonder where the premiums go :P

Gambit
I'd say Dan was the best person to speak with least you are dealing with one person and not a hand full :) And yeah the points will always be a killer. Again no points for me either. But I do find the points think annoying depending on why they was given. Just another thing to squeeze a few more pounds out of people :)
Skiv
Yea exactly when we last spoke he said he would give my details too his team mate and he would call back so just that to wait for :) Me being young and dumb the points are insurance related because I'm stupid but people make mistakes and all that Sent from my iphone using Tapatalk
Gambit
It happens we all take the risk now and again. And being dumb is a part of growing up I'm still an idiot now :D My pet hate is the speed cameras when they bust people doing 6 or 7 MPH over the limit and then bill you for the privilege of points.
Skiv
My pet hate is when your following the speed limit and a cop puts the foot to the floor without any lights just to overtake because they think they are higher than the law power abusers some of them! Other pet hate when your sat soon nothing with your friends at a meet and they come harass you Sent from my iphone using Tapatalk
savage bulldogs
If you've got mods I'd say flux is a good option , cos my uk turbo is probably only worth £1200 book price :-( I Had a good 20 mins on the phone with them to go through my mods list and she's now insured for £5k + with like for like on all the parts If anything the premium went down as I suppose they now know how much time and money I've put into the car (so won't be driving like a **** )
Skiv
Ah brilliant I see they specialise in modded cars and such, that's one thing for sure you don't want to have a car with all the expensive stuff on it to go out and wreck it when you've spent that much money you take pride in your car and look after it as best you can, I for sure will not be ragging my car around like most young people now adays they ain't cars to be toyed with especially if you're not used to the power they car mine is non turbo but still by far more powerful than my old car Sent from my iphone using Tapatalk
quit
They ripped me off with my cav gsi when I was 18 , vowed vengeance on them But Mrs cousin works for them , call centre girl and one the flux babes , begged to give me a quote at a family BBQ so she called at renewal wasn't far off then all the extras were added free like the key protection etc Had few little issues but nothing major just with paperwork as they wanted proof of mileage so I wrote it down in the form but missed the evidence so had to sent mot in but the cut off was 3 days and they was going to cancel it
tom_gr7
lol, I'm with One Call Direct, Never heard of them until they offered me 550 for fully comp, business use, 12k miles, protected no claims via moneysupermarket. All the other companies wanted 850 quid and upwards. Although, they are probably cheap for a reason, but like buying from any company, you never know how good they are until you personally experience their support etc etc. For me, insurance is a buy at the cheapest price and forget about it for a year.
