2003-2008 3.0 Auto Engine Chain Or Belt Driven

As it says on the tin please folks - is the 2003-2008 Outback 3 litre auto belt or chain driven?

I suspect it may be chain driven, but would be good if an owner could confirm this  :)

You will love it!......and they are chain driven.....bomb proof, make sure they have the full service history and your good to go!

I'm a Subaru Owners club virgin :D,i've just joined as it happens.

To answer the question about the 3.0 Outback,they are chain driven,!Removed! good engines as well !!

No cambelt to worry bout.

I've owned 4 over the past 10 years,and ForestersTtribeca's and i'm back to a 2003 -3.0 H6 model after selling my Tribeca last year due to redundancy/retirement.
