Hi all. I have a 56plate hawkeye WRX. The guy before me has made it look like an STi. It has the STi rear spoiler and STi pink badges on the front and rear. Should I remove the badges and stop pretending the car is an STi? Should I put the original WRX spoiler on too? Can't decide.


The only thing that would possibly bother me is the badges, the spoiler has a much nicer look than the standard :)

could probably turn a little profit off the STi bits but id keep the spoiler

I agree. I'm a great believer in not badgeing something that it's not.

I would say go with your own personal preference mate if you like it I shouldn't worry about it. But if you was asking would I do it no I wouldn't :) I had STI stickers on when I've had the WRC decals on but that was part of the set :)

I had a classic that had P1 splitter, Sti spoiler, 22b bonnet vents and I de badged the whole car apart from the front grill.

As gambit said it's your motor so go with what ever floats your boat. Personally I don't like cars that have the Sti/Gti/turbo/RS badges when they aren't.

The car also has wind deflectors running from the front to rear windows. Does anyone know how to get these off? Is it an easy job?

should be just a case of unclipping them - wrt the badges, up to you but I would go with others stay with the styling but remove the badges

As others have said, I'd get rid of the STi badges but definitely keep the Spoiler.

And spoke to,a guy at japshow with. A jdm import sti bugeye which had a scoop on the front that was standard but was bigger than uk spec and us spec because it had 2 water jets?
