  • yes, the moment you start changing suspension parts you will need to do alignment. it's always a good thing to check that every year anyway IMHO

  • Hi mr B. Right before you shoot me to bits I ended up with a mix, thepedders lowering kit, firstly because the said they also had 2 year gaurantee on the shocks and springs, & I couldn't get the

  • Not entirely sure, never looked into newage stuff but they changed the tops on one of the later models so you may need to swap to older top mounts with new age shocks. Those coils should work with

My offer on the coil overs got knocked back lol.So im gonna get some rear non self levelling rear shocks for the back and get some lowering springs

Boo never mind mate, plenty of options still open

Are the Subaru wrx rear shocks the same as the non sls rear shocks. And will the top hats from my sls rear shocks fit the non sls shocks

tophats fit, wrx struts are shorter than standard forester non sls struts.

On the piston rod or the whole thing

length of body and rod

Subaru forester sf5 boge automatic shock 27d24a .Can anyone tell me more about this shocker I want to make sure its a non sls shock before I carry on

Standard twin tube gas shock from Boge for SF forester (non SLS)

Much the same as the KYB & Monroe for Forester.

Twin tube shocks? you have lost me now lol

Just design option, you have twin tube & mono tube, twin tube being very much the standard for normal shocks.

So if im using boge suspension on the rear is it non sls

Yes, the boge strut you quoted is a patern part to a forester non sls strut.

The only company that makes sls struts is Tokico & they only available through Dealer.

Im begining to wonder if it ever had sls.back end sags a bit and the shockers i have on the back are boge.im lost lol

Could be wrong springs then, as if use sls springs on standard shocks you get same saggy look as with failed sls struts.

Ive bought brand new boge shocks to fit to find out that there is boge shocks already fitted lol.did my model even come with sls?and i believe you can tell how stiff the spring is by the colour of the dot on the spring.mine are blue

This is a nice look.Would I have to remove the front subframe spacers to get this low
