Hi there, newbie here; i'm trying to find an update disc for my 2005 RN, which doesn't cost a fortune! I bought a 2013 Western Europe edition from the internet, which was branded Land Rover, Ford,  Jaguar, Subaru and seemed ok, and was around £40...it worked for about two days, now won't accept postcodes, addressees etc. maps are ok though! Supplier un-contactable! The origional 2003 disc works intermittently on post codes etc, and maps are fine.

 

all suggestions welcome. [except buyer beware!]

There is a thread where one of the members described issues with his satnav - turned out the disc used was a pirate and caused problems - unfortunately you may have to buy the genuine article

I have the 04-05 DVD in mine. (an 05 Outback) Theres a 07-08 disk on Ebay at £49.99

I think you will need the real Mcoy, i`m pretty sure these DVDs won`t copy like a video DVD, it would have to be copied fully obviously and I would`nt think the system will play a DVD-9.

I just downloaded 2007 navigation. I`ll burn it to disk and let you know if it works.

I have burned a 2008 version and it works. If you want one let me know.

Just last week I bought a 2015 disk from eBay for £30 And it works fine.

I`m pretty sure this is the last version for the Kenwood nav system. 

The newest version is the coolest Tesla style navigation
