What power is my sti running??

Hi again I feel like all I ever do is ask questions on here but I haven't got many people in the know and you lot seem to know your stuff!

 

Basically just wanting to know the factory power of my sti wagon is?. It's a import 1996 wrx sti with the red top engine, read up it's 280bhp standard but now I've seen 260bhp, seems daft to ask but every hp counts! Thanks!

That's not a problem mate what forums are for :) 

 

I'm sure they was about 280bhp maybe someone with a bit more know how than me with the classic imports can fully confirms this :)

Should be 280, but obviously the years may have knocked a few horses off.

May be worth getting it on a dyno give you a true figure
