  1. Sounds like your doing it wrong lol
  2. You can delete the secondary air pump that would be my advice , the hole egr system is a disgusting idea , I do have an air pump in my garage if you need one ?
  3. Are you sure that seams too light to me , considering wedsports are 7.2kg for 18/8.5 and they're proper lightweight race wheels
  4. TBH I would get the induction kit first see how you like it , you get quite a good dump noise when you change on boost , and a lil flutter on low rpm , it makes a huge difference . But you will need a remap after . Are you running any other mods ?
  5. Both are ok I'm running a mishimoto race intake on mine but it is loud Defiantly gives a lot more theatre to the drive , but you will require a tune because the standard maf is built into the air box , also dump valves are the same , I'm not running one but you also need a tune if you were
  6. I agree one a battery goes totally flat it won't last , or I've never had one last yet
  7. Do you know how much these weigh ? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. You can buy them on eBay about 20 for £1 , I bought some of the purple interior clips of there , identical to the oe item Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. I will drop him a message , I am only browsing ATM so didn't really want to waste his time. I've messaged him a few times in the past, but not ever bought anything from him yet , so I feel kinda awkward, Although I think they would fit the sti I think he's just copied it of a USA site , and I know in the states etc it 2010 the wrx hatch was wide body too, so they must share the same parts you would think . Also I know the saloon and the hatch underneath are identical.
  10. Hi guy I've been looking at some rear lower arms , track rod ends etc for the hatch and seen some nice titanium ones from a company called spl https://www.tarmacsportz.co.uk/spl-toyota-gt86-subaru-brz-13-wrx-08-titanium-rear-toe-arms.html But the parts are for a Brz but says they also fit the 08 wrx , will these fit the sti , are these parts the same between cars ? , or have the site only put wrx being lazy lol
  11. Is this in some parallel universe
  12. Hahahaha what a coincidence Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Isn't the wrx just a fully open Dec ej255 block and the sti a semi closed Dec ej257 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. What diameter centre section was the old Zorst mate , I could be interested [emoji6] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Hello and welcome [emoji1309]
  16. The tank won't always hiss when you take the cap off
  17. Could be a rockercover gasket , have you taken the leafs off and had a look , best thing to do Is clean all the oil off best you can the go for a lil drive , then look may help you locate the leak
  18. I spose in a sort of good way it was the rad end , it's booked in on Friday I'm just getting a replica for the time being providing it gets here :/ , funds are tight and this way I should still be able to get to time attack on Sunday and get some track time in on Monday :) I've booked a travel lodge and everything [emoji85], then in a few months get a nice ally one hopefully Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Today I have mainly been swearing at my car a lot ! Last night my radiator decided it had enough and the top spout that takes the hose for the engine broke off 🤦🏻‍♂️ ffs just as I've booked a track day for Monday at brands , very angry especially as I've only recently spent £50 on nice coolant just for it to chuck it all over my nice clean engine bay , soaked my heat wrap , steam everywhere I thought the car was on fire , lucky I was only round the corner from my house and the car didn't over heat or get hot , Just as I was falling in love with it again this happens [emoji35] arrrrrghhhhh more !Removed! expense , It's rubbish quality but this is what was left in the end of the hose , didn't snap where the clamp was but much further back , so I don't think I had over tightened it :/ , but it's crappy firberglas / frp I had to brake it to get it out the end of the pipe
  20. My wallet Is the only thing that's broken [emoji85] haha Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. I can get 40mpg out of my sti although that is with ZERO smiles on a good run lol, but I do average 33 ish
  22. Tired old pump Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Hello tom 24 from East Midlands , what sort of Impreza are you after?
  24. kershaw-330s replied to a post in a topic in General Subaru Chat
Well technically the power difference is always 41-59 , the dccd allows different amounts of slip between the front and rear wheels , when the wheels are in full lock the front wheels will spin at the same speed as the rears , that's why it judders if you go slow round tight corners . But when fully open the rear wheels will do roughly 2 revolutions I think before the front wheels will pull you away . This is under slip conditions I recon fully locked would make any Scoob drift although sketchy because all the wheels will be spinning at the same speed , where as in fully open it may be harder to create the drift but more of a true rear wheel drift. Although I may be getting my wires crossed , I don't ever intentionally try to drift my car lol . But that's my two cents There is a really good vid from Subaru on this online , Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
