  6. Does it aways make the noise ? Mine is getting like that occasionally but normally if I start the car in a tight spot and have to give it full lock to get out but it does quieten down as the car warms up . But it's not all the time . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. I don't know about your car , But with open source will you get changeable maps and flat shift etc, you do pay a premium for the ecu Tek software in the first place but I would say it's worth it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Yes I've got that in my basket as we speak it looked the best haha , 7ltrs !! Good job I asked I was only going to buy 5ltrs [emoji85] thanks guys . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Hi guys . Does anyone know how much coolant I will need to do a change , and what coolant are you guys using ? I know it's got to be oat coolant , I've got a coolant leak and I've just been topping it up for over a year now with Halfords pink stuff , but I've got new hoses to fix it now so want to put something good in , is buying concentrate ok I'm a bit sceptical mixing with water , but concentrate is considerably cheaper . Any help would be great Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. I'm currently running a 3" down pipe to 2.5 " cat back I believe with just the fire ring Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. TBH I personally don't play around with that sort of stuff I leave that to the professionals, so I'm not very clued up on the different programs and what they do , although there are many people that used those sorts of programs and do everything on there own with great results , I know of rom raider but I think you can only turn off cell lights and stuff like that not sure ., and you always run the risk of you could flash the ecu and fry the ecu and the car could never start again, and it won't even be your fault , that's why I leave it to someone else so if the worst happens it's their problem lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. It will probably throw a cell if it doesn't you will be lucky , not sure about any running issues tho , . But doesn't your car already have a tune ? If you go back to the same place it won't be to expensive about £ 200max, it would defo be worth waiting and saving , as you've got the intake on too , could be expensive if things go wrong Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Haha yes I noticed that earlier , " sharkskin technology " apparently . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. I'm not convinced tbh , it could've just been his car doing whack stuff. I've never heard of that happening to anyone else before. I'm running ecu Tek it's great flat shift , changeable maps , launch mode , on some of the newer cars you can get an app for your phone and put it in valet mode and alter maps all remotely by your phone it's clever stuff Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Finally got round to booking my car if for a new map , on 2nd June with Martyn Jeffries at engine tuner [emoji16] , will probably be the hottest day of the year knowing my luck lol , got 4 new tires today too , went for Uniroyal rain sports they get awesome reviews and have are great value , getting them fitted tomorrow will put some pics up tomorrow in my build thread they have a sexy tread pattern on them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. I think the newer spec c models have the big port twin avcs heads, hatch back and newer are all dual avcs Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Godspeed do provide a cracking service too and very reasonable on price Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. All five ? What size where they , I went in the wheel specialist and they do a flat rate for wheel size , for the 18inch Rays on my 350 z it was going to work out about £500 for 4 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Don't want to sound negative, But if your head gaskets gone it's basically a full engine build to fix it correctly , so your looking at thousands Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. I'm looking at getting tgv deletes for mine but trying to figure out if it's really worth it , but it will give me the opportunity to paint my inlet tho so not sure [emoji848] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Love the digi dash [emoji14] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. I just see this on fb glwts Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. I see you took your intake manifold off , how long roughly and how much of a pain in the !Removed! was it ? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Well I as nobody here has even had it done . I don't know of any U.K. Company that does it on the new ones , and tbh to do it properly ( undoing the four screws isn't even half the job ) and your right it wouldn't be worth the time just to do quarter of the job like that . I don't really think it matters if the engine is in or out and now the parts are available in the U.K. To save endless hours of messing about with a dremil etc looks like I'm going to have to find out , as everyone seams to be speculating but clearly nobody knows Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. If your that worried there is a company round my way that does a dpf and carbon cleaning service , although it looks a bit crazy what they do it seems really good and comes highly recommended , the thing with these diesel dpf is to do it sooner rather than later , what may cost £200 now could save you over £1k in the future , it's worth thinking about .
