  1. Umm, does the fuel pressure drop off quickly after the ignition is switched off .. If so, suspect one way ( no return ) valve in fuel pump 😙 ( if so ) and fuel pump still pumps plenty of fuel, No need to replace whole pump ( pain in a** job ) Just fit a external no return valve 😉
  2. Personally I wouldn't bother fitting tyre's just for this trip, When you can get a set of snow chains ( That fit in minutes ) for under £30, I particularly like this type Temporary fitting these to the front wheels, makesALL the difference when your draging yourself ( plus heavy caravan ) out of a muddy field Example:: see here:: https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F152558285392
  3. Umm " 500/600 miles in two years " How is your car stored !! Having the car sitting around not being used for long periods ( apart from trashing it to death ) Is one of the most certain ways to insure it's quick demise. For such low usage, I would service her, Yearly, evenif you didn't drive her at all. Else ( with light use ) major service every 3 years
  4. Ps:: found the OBDII port. It was hiding in pain view ( directly under the steer column ) 😚
  5. I'm wondering if the cars inbuilt antenna needs power sent down the coax to work ( many have inbuilt signal amplifier ) And what you changed // removed it.. ?
  6. Hello fellow owners Was just searching for my 2006 XE's OBDii port Opened the little pocket next to my knee and discovered this ( see attached photo ) My guess would be it's a access terminal to communicate with something ( alarm immobilizer ?? )
