Time to get a few more numbers for SOC 1st annual Japfest outing, be great to get 10 or so cars at the show, great value full car (4 people) and it works out at just £5.50 each, if you go on your own and park it's going to cost you £25 each on the day, plus a long walk into the show, this way you park inside don,t have to carry your sandwiches with you, and get to meet nice people , simples "book it now"

Closing date 6th march so get your name down, 4 people into the show, and great parking,all for £22, great day out, great track done many a track day there, or just put your feet up and watch the action with a few cold drinks, be quick to avoid disappointment ,

Carbon engine cover /japfest prep started

This is my original engine cover which as been hydro dipped, they can dip almost anything ,dash parts,wheels,engine covers etc I,ve talked in depth to the company and hopefully should get some club discount, prices are keen already, should have lots more bits done at japfest so you can see if you fancy anything done, keep you all posted and pics L -

Not really had chance to give them a good hot test, but pedal feels really strong, and they look really good, the old disc where bumping so they do feel better and inspire a lot more confidence when high speed braking, time will tell

40mpg I'd settle fo1/2 of that somedays, but use of power is addictive , super unleaded I can buy anywhere ,by the way, welcome aboard ,enjoy the subaru great fun ,and japfest is only up the road ,sign up for it get your little boys up and have a great day out and meet some of the club

Try and do a recce next week , iknow there's a big pub down the road from track, but it's a bit far out for people staying overnight ,watch this space

Great to numbers starting to go up, to quote a line from the film field of dreams line "if you build it they will come" should be a great day music,(anyone got a abba cd), beer( shandy bass anyway) women (we need a few volunteers in skirts,) food ( they say no BBQ, but chicken and burgers on all exhaust manifolds and turbos for the drive down, let's get the party started.

Come on guys sign up, it's £20 for your car and 4 passengers, it's a great show, feet up and watch the track action, or even have a go if you swing that way, plus you get to meet me and Scooby Pete that's got to worth the £20 alone,

Sorry only just got the thread due to work commitments abroad, great cars buy the auto 2009 car, can,t comment on 2.5 engine only had3.0 which don,t miss a beat, likes a drop of fuel, but plays back with smiles on faces, -
