What's different about them, because the fuel tanks are all the same. Or so I thought.🤔 Everything lists 92 - 00 for fuel stuff.

Hi, yes front 4 pots bolt straight on with correct discs to you hubs. Get the front disc backing plates from I.c.p with the new backing plate bolts calliper bolts & yes the plates swap straight on, usually your snap a rusty old bolt that holds the backing plates on so be prepared to drill out & retap. LoL. The rear 2 pots will need the brackets& spacers kit. Usually found on eBay. For about £30 if I remember correctly.

Wow. That looks like Spider-Man's steering wheel. 😬

Surely that's like saying' I just bought primark jeans for £7.00, so why would anyone buy Levi's for £100.00 ?

Yeah. Not finished yet though. Ran out of dyno time. Its going back for its final 'fine tuning' soon.

Yeah. I did not manage to snap a picture of the 615 run though. But this is a better view of the top half without the white info window in the way...

LoL It looks clean. u got a good 5 months to plan all the mods then!......👍🏻 -

I had same issue years ago, but it was the n/s front bearing that kept on failing. But mine only did about 50miles. After the second 50mile failure I got my money back from e.c.p. I bought from i.c.p & it's still on there now years later. Just ring up luke at import. He'll sort u out😉

Hmmmm, ok. Well from what you just wrote, I would do a compression test & leak down test. You would need to get a mobile mechanic in to do this if your not confident in doing that. Get all the details wrote down before he leaves. Before you mentioned the low compression I was thinking it sounds like the coilpack metal (x3 in each) connectors INSIDE the black plastic connector. iv seen this issue a few times now, where coilpacks are diagnosed, but it's the connectors not making a good connection. This COULD have been the original problem. the more they are slid off & put back on over time, makes them looser & looser. bad connection = misfire. Driving with missfire = eventually damaging that cylinder, what damage I hear you say, well that's what a compression test AND a leak down test will tell you. Hope this points u in the right direction. let us know the results.....👍 Did this oldboy garage 4 years ago give you a code?, Did they document it? Never ignore an engine light on a subaru. They come on for a reason. Toolstation sell for £25 a cheap(but does the job) obd2 scan tool to tell you any code that might be stored. Might be worth you getting, plugging it in under the steering wheel & seeing if there's any codes

Can you explain in a bit more detail what your cylinder issue is ? & What is a fuel mix issue?

Oh yes. It even surprises me. It frighteningly hit 615hp at 2.2bar,🔥. to much. Happy at 548. But I would really like to know what else is out there ??

Speed Density wiring.(IAT)
SF5Fozzi replied to SF5Fozzi's topic in Subaru Engines, Exhausts and modifications
In not sure about using this on a standard ecu, but probably yes. i m running alcatek impreza ecu in my 2002 51plate forester. so this would apply to bugeyes as well I guess. But the wires might be a different colour, but in the same locations in the connector. -
If your getting it remapped next week then I'd hurry up & get a RCM fuel pump installed. Can't really do much mapping with a standard pump. 👍
-
Yeah I got one as well. Probably some big bald Russian bloke !.LoL

Just I case any needs to know, or if any1 is interested in knowing LoL. When converting to speed density. The 2x wires that come off the iat sensor need to connect to the old maf sensors 5 pin connector. I bought a Subaru MALE 5pin connector (ebay) to connect to the old oem female maf connector so there's not any cutting off of wires from the oem loom. The3x unused ports I filled in with some hot glue. I connected it as in pictures below..... Hope this helps someone.
