  1. Happy Birthday Youngatheart!

  2. Great set of pictures. I have just got myself an HKS and was bit unsure if it was real or fake. It seemed to good to be true at the price i payed. But your pictures have removed my doubts. Looks like my luck was in. :D I have read different articals about how to spot fakes but to see the comparison in pictures is great. Thanks Gambit.
  3. Head Light is out :D.All it took in the end was a firm push from the back no wood needed :) The last fitting is a Bayonet type fitting into a nylon bush located on the left hand side of the unit, If you push the back of the Head light straight towards the front of the car it comes out. Thanks for the advice Gambit, if you have not taken one out before you never know if you are going to break something.
  4. I will have another go this weekend and see if i can get the little perisher out. Fingers crossed it comes out in one, and not bits :D
  5. I have had no trouble getting the bolts undone, the light unit seems free when pulled but something is catching, thats what made me think there was something else holding it in. I am trying to be careful not to brake anthing as i still want to use the lights, its just i can't adjust the beam height. The chap i got the car off had different Head Lights fitted. He had the originals put back in but it looks like the linkage to the electric adjuster is not on properly, if i can get them out with a bit of luck i should be able to fix it.
  6. Cheers Gambit I will have to summon up the courage and give it a Good Yank.
  7. HELP i have been trying to remove my drivers side head light. From the information i have found it is held in by 3 bolts. I have taken the afore mentioned bolts out, but the unit will not come off. :( It looks like there could be another fixing up under the wing. No other bolts are mentioned in the Manual,or is there some trick to removal. I didn't want to force it and brake something. Can anyone advise Please.
  8. Nice one Like it
  9. Guessed it had to be something like that or you would never be able to turn the stearing wheel :D
  10. Nice Pics the last one would get my vote. I try to keep my Jag tidy but as it is black it is a job, and as i use it ever day it would take up a lot of my spare time, witch could be better used to keep my UK300 clean and polished. :)
  11. Must say thats a Nice looking engine :) a lot of time and effort in that but well worth it.
  12. I like the sound of both what yourself and Miggs have said my car is my Play Thing :) its great to drive and to my way of thinking the Best colour for a Scooby :D Blue.but this does not mean i don't like other colours. As for Jags I have an X-type estate as my every day run about it saves me risking supermarket car parks, there are to many people about who just think of a car as a bit of metal. :( It also gets used for taking rubbish to the local tip something my Scooby will never be used for.
  13. Thanks for the Welcome messages look forward to exploring the sight.
  14. Hello to all I have not long acquired my latest Subaru and have been looking for a forum to join, I have been a member of Scoobynet for some time but I am looking for something better and this could be it. :) I have had a quick look over the forum and when I get more time I will explore more. From what I have seen so far it all looks Good. Cheer Eric
