FS: 2005 Forester XT (2.5T) SOLD
Sorry for the late reply. I'm away in Afghan at the moment so not always available. The car hasn't been sold but I am holding it for someone to look at first as they contacted me with an offer first seems only fair. I'm back in a couple of weeks so things will be a little more concrete then.

FS: 2005 Forester XT (2.5T) SOLD
Ok decided to sell my 2005 Forester XT and pursue an FSTI. I've owned my car for a year after trading in my Audi A3. I've spent time and money on her but due to what I want it's best to sell and just look for an FSTI, as I'd be spending around the same money to finish her and convert to a 6spd. As the car had 100K on the clock the first point of call for upgrades were, suspension, brakes, back box, air filter and re-map along with a service. Then came wheels, tinting, turbo, tmic, bov, tyres, up pipe and finally another re-map and service, I have all the receipts for the work. The car currently has 110,800 on the clock but due to the new suspension and brakes the car handles exceptionally well. It also has leather interior, sun and moon roof. Plus all the usual good stuff this model fozzy has. I'm the 3rd owner and have the full servicing history of the car. The car is fitted with the standard subaru immobiliser. There is carpet wear in the drivers foot well near the clutch pedal and the usual stone chips etc. I would like to get on a proper dyno but don't know if I'll get a chance to, she is claimed in the 280-300BHP region (I know it's a broad BHP range was to finish exhaust before a rolling road session). I do have the outputs from the first mapping before turbo, sti tmic and up pipe work was done. I'm not asking for a ridiculous price and given that the mods I've done are practically new you wouldn't be having to do much for a while unless you wanted to do so. MOT was completed last week so you'll have 12 months and 6 months Tax has been paid for at £154. For 12 months it's now £280 a slight increase from last year. I will probably take the audio out of the car but if you would like it in then the price would be higher. Hi guys, Yeah I miss the sound of Aussie V8's such a straight forward car to drive as are the ford's out there. I'm from SE Queensland but also lived down in Melbourne. Where is your brother living Miggs? Don't worry about spending my money for me Gambit I do that well enough myself :) and my foz is now for sale end of Oct so time to start saving for the FSTI, should be interesting as I'm crap at selling stuff. And as there aren't many for sale in my price range I may have to wait and import one. :D

I'd probably go for the same model STI but depends at the time. I've been enjoying the mods on my lil beast I'm back in a month so can't wait to take her for a cruise again :) Hi jay, cheers for the welcome.

Thanks Gambit. Yeah that's my ride for now. She's had a busy 12 months new coil overs, front/rear sways, turbo, tmic, wheels, back box, up-pipe, hi-flow filter, re-map(need to put her on a dyno and do it properly) and audio :). I'm debating whether to keep her or sell and get the STI version.

G'day. I've been on the Subaruforester.org site for a year now since I bought my 05 forester XT. Thought I should finally come and say hi. My previous drives are 00 wrx, 99 wrx wagon, a 07 wrx tuned by sti (aussie special edition) and a few other Aussie cars similar to the Vauxhall VRX you get here. I live in hampshire but currently away with work but looking for a few cruises to get on when I get back :)
