  1. No worries just found them but don't blame you can't go wrong with a splitter :)
  2. Try this it's off my Google drive it's for 97 to 98 might show as a saloon I can't remember but same principle :D https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B8TFZlCx15kTVTNRVVhZeE1mQW8/view?usp=sharing you will need Winrar to unpack it too.
  3. yeah pretty rare now to get but found these 2 on fleebay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Subaru-Morrete-head-lights-/131484233665?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item1e9d122fc1 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Subaru-Impreza-Morette-Headlamps-Bug-Eye-/251888598292?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item3aa5bafd14
  4. the workshop manuals come in PDF format so would need printing off or take the laptop in the garage :D
  5. figured it I just had to sign in lol :D More worrying is I have 6 friends in common :o
  6. what year do you have I might have a workshop guide kicking about. most things Subaru related Youtube has a video for but not always. The suspension on these do tend to dry up and make a knocking noise or creek mine does the same so might be nothing. These car do tend to be a bit more noisy than most :)
  7. I think it throws the same code it's the bank from my understand if it's 1 or 2 depends which one it is but don't hold me to that :)
  8. Hope it helps find the right one then :) And look forward to seeing the picture when you finally take ownership ;)
  9. Oh I thought you was asking about anything to improve the car :D well have a guide here for when buying a car but might be helpful http://uk.subaruownersclub.com/forums/topic/1619-help-check-guide-buying-1st-subaru/ top rear struts seem to be the biggest weak point on them. so I'd give them a check over know to rust pretty bad.
  10. Ohhh you're such a tease
  11. Yep looks much better imo a job well done mate :) Heres my headlights.
  12. Hello mate welcome to S.O.C As you said best places to start is to strip any weight from the car you don't need brakes and suspension are all best places to start :) as for which ones to use I'm not too sure what the non turbo guys have as a choice.
  13. It matter's not one bit here if it's a Turbo, non turbo, STI, WRX as long as it has the badge is all that matters ;) The non turbos can be great cars lose weight better suspension and brakes with the AWD can be quick cars. As for the insurance I think it's ringing around and finding what suits you and pocket. Compare sites work for a few, for me can't stand them and not interested in any little cuddly toy or plastic robot. Unfortunately with specialist insurance it is a case of ring them all like playing tennis and play them off each other. Just like it was when I first started to drive but only real way to get best quotes is try them all. But for many people specialist usually give the best deals on these types of cars.
  14. Yeah he does have one in the bumper it's on ebay too :D http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Subaru-Impreza-Bugeye-Prodrive-Edition-Front-Bumper-/221742099629?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item33a0dbecad
  15. Like I said give matt a ring mate he gets a few only problem is you have to be quick. Especially with these more sort after rarer parts.
  16. Right wanting to book this tomorrow I'm going to pay for one of the extra tickets and Steves said he will book the other one so we make the 10. But we only have 8 cars going so I'm hoping we can still sell these. But if you want to come please get your name down ASAP please.
  17. Tomorrow peeps should be nice weather all being well. Alex my mate camera ;) let get an update cover photo :D
  18. If you hadn't checked the oil for 8 months and have driven the car almost daily before to 200 miles it is a good chance it's just used that amount over that period of time. I find I have to give mine a top up before I come round to oil and filter change again as they do use a lot of oil. But I drive mine daily sometimes giving it some.
  19. I can't see either group but nice job Tidgy. :) I'm guessing because I'm not a member of either group.
  20. Haha [emoji1] that's brilliant. Cheered me up this morning that. [emoji106] If you hadn't posted that I'd have said you had made it up [emoji1] But anyway not sure I'll get on the case later see if I can link any of them. Wouldn't want to dirt anyone up who's genuine. [emoji106]
  21. I could have had a word with sam at auto art he's pretty good. Well danm good. He might have been able to get a close match for you.
  22. I'd have a look at tightening the power steering belt sounds like that's gone a bit slack. what I'd check first just a few turns then check the tension on the belt. [emoji4]
  23. Probably right there mate [emoji1]
  24. Haha got you sweating a bit then did it matt I only post your number on the back if mens toilet doors for a good time [emoji1] But I agree think it looks better with the morettes than the standard headlights but I guess it's obvious I'd say that lol.
