Ive always gone with standard cars with no mods 5w 30 and anything modded 10w 50. I've never had any problems doing it this way. But do know others use other types even down to semi synthetic. But I've only ever used full.

Sorting yet anothe stuck piston out on the brakes freed it now but need to get some refurbished ones I think.

It's about the right cost for a full engine rebuild. I had a full engine rebuild done that was a little more than that by Scooby world. I'd only trust certain people though, they could be just billing you for it all and might not need it all doing. Only other thing to look at is another engine maybe a refurbished one or a 2nd hand one to keep costs down. But you run the risk with 2nd hand of it having faults :( I did the 2nd hand engine thing with a CRV last year and has been great if I'm being honest, but was told the engine was new it was an insurance right off engine. Might have been in the floods or was damaged on the way to a main stealers. worked out cheaper than a rebuild though.

Well I've tracked mine down it's not the clutch front O/S brake calipers sticking on again and getting that hot it's giving me the clutch smell :(

As Jay has said if you're not getting on with it no point keeping it to maybe regret it later on. I've always looked at the 1st batch of cars at test cars so they can see the problems after they get driven.

As said above SSS spot on place I do over 200 mile round trip to use them but worth it.

5w 30 is the normal stuff I use it in the non modified subaru but I use 10w 40 in the other one so as said above should be fine :-)

Well I was speaking to them they wanted to have their internal meeting about what they can bring to the forum and I mentioned about them coming to some of the events with us with a sales team and their own stand. Not heard a thing back since. I've sent another email but still nothing. [emoji24]
