The Forza Horizon 2 Demo is Coming!
Gambit replied to Gambit's topic in Games/Console/Computer Nerd Room
Yeah what I thought :( And surely doing it through live would have been better to organize it through the demo than twitter or any other way for that matter. Oh well I'm guessing it was a bit of a flop then really :( -

I have to agree I think it's been poor planning as to the events itself. Even with Google I can't find the answer :( -

Subaru owners meet in bucks, who's up for it?
Gambit replied to Scooby monkey's topic in South East Regional Meets
Come on guys get your names down. It's always nice to meet local owners and get a meet going I do one every month ;) -
I'm not sure myself I'd either PM Simon from Jolly Green Monster on here or maybe give him a ring if he's not too busy. http://www.jollygreenmonster.com/ I don't think there is anything Simon doesn't know with regards to mapping and ECU's :D

I've asked on Forza forums to see if I can get an answer and had no replies :( http://forums.forzamotorsport.net/turn10_postst22087_Forza-Fuel.aspx I'm guessing I have more chance of finding the missing Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 than getting an answer :( -
Finally own an Impreza! Oh and I'm new :D
Gambit replied to Sandals's topic in New Members Introductions
Hi mate welcome to S.O.C I was a big fan of He-Man as a kid :) Dump valves like Stants has said some engines can run them others can't, not so bad with the newage as much as the classics. I have 2 scoobs in the garage both have them and run fine with them it's just pick of the luck really. Induction kits again have them on both as long as its not an oiled one should be fine. it's the oiled ones that do the damage. Anyway feel free to jump in on the forum great friendly bunch on here. So as long as you have a good sense of humour should fit right in at home :D -
Hi mate welcome to S.O.C To put it short you have looked far more into it than I ever have with regards to the 06/07 :D Not saying thats a bad thing I just don't know the true answer :) I think the biggest problem you have is there is so many different types with the hawkeye in the UK with limited editions, Prodrive not including the imports also with a lot of car's people change parts on them with other parts. So the trim thing is very hard to say really IMO. I do know it's only very early 06 that fell in the lower tax bracket. The ones that got on the market before the price hike :( I know the 07 has a longer gear change in 3rd and 4th gear only not sure if that has any advantage or not. If I was looking I'd really look at what style/look I was after price with service history and weigh up would it be better with the lower tax. I'm currently looking at hawkeyes myself seen some nice ones looking at a GB270 thats on a 07 plate but seen a few 06 plates that fall in the lower tax. all the cars I've seen look really nice somethings I'd change for my own personal touch on one or two but very undecided myself at the minute :)

From what I've heard and like yourself not driven one but would like to if anyone from Subaru UK feels like letting me ;) ;) That their sold underpowered with the possibility of a remap after 6 months. from the videos I've seen they have kept it like the rally cars well similar to the cars of old like the new age salon. Only thing I can see that seems to be missing is they used to be massive power for a fraction of the cost of say a porsche and 300BHP in todays terms doesn't seem like a massive amount with todays cars that are also on the market :(

I know how it is mate I've been pretty busy some work and some pleasure :) so I can't complain.
-
Never good news mate :( I personally think Fakebook has been the killer for forums :( But you know you're always welcome here same as anyone else mate :) So welcome to your new home ;)

The Forza Horizon 2 Demo is Coming!
Gambit replied to Gambit's topic in Games/Console/Computer Nerd Room
Turn 10 and Microsoft announced today that the exciting world is being brought to life, and from September 15 – 18, 8 teams representing some of the biggest racing countries in the world will traverse the roads inspired by the game in Italy, France and Spain, behind the wheel of some of the world’s most exclusive supercars, including the Aston Martin V12 Vantage S, 2014 McLaren 650S and the game’s hero supercar – the Lamborghini Huracán. Each day, teams will go head-to-head in a series of daily Car Challenges inspired by Forza Horizon 2, including racing against a helicopter and taking on a high-intensity rally track. Fans are invited to join the competition at home and with each challenge, they can compete along with teams to earn currency called #FORZAFUEL. As they follow the challenges and acquire #FORZAFUEL, fans at home will get involved too, competing to earn extra fuel for their chosen team in daily Fan Challenges set by their team captains - key YouTube influencers from the gaming community. At the end of the #FORZAFUEL road trip, the team with the most #FORZAFUEL will receive the best prizes – which include an Xbox One, a copy of Forza Horizon 2, a GoPro, a Microsoft Surface Pro 3 and more. The more fuel teams earn, the more prizes available – the outcome is up to them! The #FORZAFUEL route starts in Bologna, Italy, where contestants will meet their first challenge – “Get to the Choppa” – where teams will go head-to-head with a helicopter to earn #FORZAFUEL. Next they are onto Monaco, with its prestigious car heritage, where they will use live Twitch Live Stream to help complete their challenge. After two more epic, Forza Horizon 2 inspired supercar showdowns, the road trip culminates on the vibrant streets of Barcelona. The beautiful scenery, idyllic roads and iconic locations promise a road trip to remember, and plenty of great action. Fans at home will also be tasked with a challenge set by their team captains to earn #FORZAFUEL for their team and the best entry will win an additional bonus prize. What happens next? You’ll have to stay tuned for more. 8 incredible supercars. 8 teams of influencers. 1 epic road trip – fueled by you. The action starts at www.xbox.com/forzafuel. As a sneak peek to the challenge, we’ve received a list of the challengers that will be competing on behalf of their country. Fans will have the opportunity to either follow the challenger they are the biggest fan of, or the one representing their country – the -

The Forza Horizon 2 Demo is Coming!
Gambit replied to Gambit's topic in Games/Console/Computer Nerd Room
Will have a go a bit later on again. I'm sure it was more down to me not being in the mood last night than the game. I picked the Evo soon as you hit the fields that was it for me couldn't see nothing. Another worry for me is all point to point going to be through fields So far I can see the people who use the outside view have the upper hand so far.
