  1. It's great I'm honestly surprised at the results. Does take an absolute age I did start to get bored if I'm honest but the final result I'm pleased with. And I think even though it's a bit of a pain worth doing :)
  2. At a guess the Subaru club that is big within your area :)
  3. I know it's a bit of a pain anyway you can get a recording of it we have another member with ticking too, but I think it will be just the normal sound or a bit of piston slap if you're not use to hearing it. Have you checked oil levels ?
  4. I'm near Northcotes not to far away I've worked in Grantham a few times did a full central heating job on four flats in the town center :) I'm toying with holding another BBQ again at my house in the garden have enough room for people to park if the interest is better than last year :D Stants my mate might want to come again with the family this time ;)
  5. Nice I wouldn't mind having a go in one from Dogs videos look pretty good Well I've been doing this most of the morning as I had it free today :) It's like glass now :)
  6. Cheers mate yeah not paying that I will have a look at some other places. I would have done a bit more with it on the field like sorted bouncy castles out and stuff but I'm not paying for liability insurance to do that when I'm making no money out of it at all. :( I will email her back and tell her to stick it up her !Removed! :) Be the pub and the village shop I guess that will lose out on it I will just look else where if they're not willing to relook at it.
  7. Blobeyes just had a bigger exhaust fitted and alloys, sti spoiler and some interior mods done like speakers stereo thats sort of thing. The Bugeye decat bhp 300 was higher but lowered it a bit when fuel went silly prices :( Needs some work again doing to it hopefully fingers crossed be next week or the week after :)
  8. I'm just near North cotes so not far. I'm sure I will have seen it at some point I drive around enough :) Will keep an eye out. Well whilst ?I'm still trying to get the local meet going you're more than welcome to pop around if you're ever out this way :)
  9. I honestly couldn't tell you mate I can't think why it wouldn't if they are both from the same year and sports models. But I could be wrong hopefully one of the other members might be able to help you in more detail than that :) Oh and welcome to S.O.C :)
  10. Tims on here you can PM him if you like he's pretty good and will get back you you as soon as he can works direct with Opioils and we get a club discounts too ;) which is always a massive bonus :D Tim Aka Oilman http://www.opieoils.co.uk/
  11. Oh I thought he had moved on last time I heard the owner had joined a rally team not sure how true that is :) But did a quick search you could be right. :) and yes they was highly recommended a few years back so if it's still the same people will be great work not sure on prices though I never used them. The one you will see me in nearly all of the time is a Bugeye with Morettes can't miss it really :) has now just had a sunstrip added with the clubs forum on it :) and a few mini club stickers dotted about :) but sometimes in a 55 plate Blobeye like your's they're both in WRC Blue, well if you ever want to pop round for a cuppa tea you're more than welcome too Dan who owns an RB320 is only just down the road from me. He popped round for the 1st time last weekend. always good to meet up with local members. Sorry if you're unsure with the terms I've used with regards to the year of the cars. 2001/2002 = Bugeye 2003/2005= Blobeye Rasp Ltd Address: Unit 26a, Estate Rd 8, South Humberside Industrial Estate Postcode: DN31 2TG City/Town: Grimsby (Lincolnshire) Contact us: 01472 350008 Which car do you have I have seen a few. The newest one I have seen driving around was a red blobeye ?
  12. I must admit from the picture she does look lovely and a worthy buy I do like the 2 doors been tempted for a few years to get one myself and do the hole 22b look From a quick look it does show that that code was used on the 555 also on the P1's but there can be different versions in colour The Jap 555 car I've seen use a colour code 53c but that might be just because of the year and is also a 4 door with the main code on the vin GC8C4ED so almost the same as your's I know I've put a Japaneses description thing somewhere I will look for it :) Dates 09/96 - 08/97 Model of Impreza WRX type R STi Version Applied Model GC8D2DD Option Codes 81 83 91 93 Engine type EJ20K DW6PR Power (PS) 280 Shift type Manual Transmission Type TY752VB5CA TY752VB5CA TY752VB5CA TY752VB5CA Comment First 2 door coupe Year Color/Code Introduced. 1993 Light Silver 406 Blade Silver 262 Feather White 230 Black Mica 47A 1994 Deep Green 307 Deep Blue 331 1995 Medium Grey Metallic 217 Glacier White 230 Slate Gray Metallic 49B/943 Black Pearl 952/052 Light Green 56B Medium Grey Metallic 217 Glacier White 230 Carmine Pearl 309 Blue Green Metallic 340 1996 Dark Blue Mica 52D Flamy Red 936/336 Carmine Pearl 340 Caribbean Green Metallic 43B Cobalt Blue Metallic 331 1997 Reddish Blue 65c Dark Blue Pearl 416 Brilliant Red 559 Sonic Blue 74F 1998 Light Silver Metallic 406 Black Mica Pearl 47A Blue Metallic 66C New 555 Blue Pearl 74F 1999 Royal Silver Metallic 792 Blue Steel Metallic 86F 2000 Red Mica Pearl 82F Pure or Aspen White 51E Titanium Pearl 89N Ruby Pearl 947 Sedona Red Pearl 94H Red Mica 94H Blue Ridge Pearl Metallic 95H Deep Blue Mica 95H Dark Blue Pearl 416 Deep Green Metallic 307 2001 Green Metallic 64C W R Blue 02C 2002 Midnight Black 08V Blue Black Mica 08V Blaze Yellow 797 Platinum Silver Metallic 01G Premium Silver 01G Black Mica Pearl 47A 2003 Sonic Yellow 13V 2004 Ice Blue 23G Java Black Metallic 18L San Remo Red 22G Bright Red 22G Steel Gray Metallic 26D Savanna Green Metallic 07V 2005 Obsidian Black Metallic 32J Regal Blue Pearl 35J Aqua Blue Metallic 47W Crystal Gray Metallic 48W 2006 Evergreen Matallic 55M 2007 Satin White Pearl 37J Garnet Red Pearl 33J Newport Blue 64Z Urban Grey Matallic 45A

  15. I always do.... Now have you finished that coffee yet I'm starting to get cramp in this cupboard
  16. I must have miss read something somewhere haha
  17. Well I'm not sure what to say really I agree with Dave but understand what you're saying. And I thought my luck was bad :(
  18. I don't have access to a barge pole so I just shag anything.
  19. It should be as long as the weather is good unlike the 1st one looked like it was a bit of a washout from the pictures.
  20. I do like to see the Hellas behind the grills :)
  21. Haha thats the spirit. I'm sure some members can pick you up for the events or drive you in your car :D
  22. Hi mate welcome to S.O.C Nice to see even more local Scooby owners making there way here :) As for local specialists we're a bit thin on the ground around here really for them. Any big work I drive through to Sheffield and let Martin at Sheffield Subaru Services do the work I can't say it enough absolutely top guy and great prices. I would say the other nearest one we have is in Horncastle Chandlers I know a few local Subaru owners go there. Mate of mine Dan down Railway Street who owns Dj Services isn't to bad for some work too if it's like brakes you want changing if you can't do them yourself. I'm also looking at getting a local meet going if that would interest you ? It's just for local members and subaru owners of all models to meet up and get to know each other. And I would like to see if I can get it sorted for once a month. Just hit a bit of a snag at the minute as to where it will be I'm trying to get the White Horse in Marshchapel but it's owned by the parish council who wants public liability insurance as you might have seen if you have had a look around the forum. But if you haven't please feel free too, and to join in amazing bunch on here very friendly so don't worry about making new posts or joining in on the old ones :D But I'm sure you will have or will see me driving around so give us a wave. :)
  23. Gambit

    JAE ?

I think that would be Boot's wouldn't it But between us as S.O.C members you might top it for local events but I guess I will win for main event's with Japfest 2. Slacker ;)
  24. Now theres a charity event thought King removes right leg for charity and gets adds removed from S.O.C ;)
  25. Hi mate welcome to S.O.C I see you're from Sheffield I would recommend ringing Martin who's on here at Sheffield Subaru Services he's a top bloke won't charge you anything unless he does work on it and will advise you on the phone. Top guy I even do a 178 mile round trip to have work done by him. But I will asking has the car been modified i.e has anti lag on it ? Not heard of a car just shooting off when driving unless it has been tuned for it.
