  1. Not sure yet 1st time I've replaced it since I bought the hub from a scrap dealer. I wont do that again I will just go direct to main stealer's next time was only £220 for hub and bearing. I'd say everything now including the tracking labour and parts has cost me near £600 :( only joy is it was spread out through the year :D I'm not 100% sure he said it's destroying the back of the bearing as it some times stops it from turning. I'm thinking might just run it until it pop's and get another hub and bearing ready and chuck the old one on the scrap pile :( still have the !Removed! caliper to sort out yet :( oh well what happens when you have the bright idea of using 2nd hand parts to save money. Lesson learned :D
  2. Well been and picked her up need the front part of the hub where the alloy bolts onto it not sure what it's called as it will chew the bearing up again don't have any look with the dam N/S front :(
  3. I'd say be easy enough and least it's garaged mind you I still don't fancy being outside in mine :D I'm just waiting to hear about mine took it to have a bearing fitted 4 hour's ago now
  4. Oh I thought you was bothered about opening it and not being able to return it :D Hope the weather stays good for you to cold out there for me and crawling around on the floor :(
  5. Cheers Tim signed up :)
  6. I agree I thought they was just Denso ones too but some do have holes in so I wouldn't worry about that to much but I also thought the wire was longer that the one in your picture but other than that it does look right.
  7. Yep I agree with Tlag I'd put money on head gaskets

  14. They do make a difference to breaking from the standard disc's and pads. Also upgrading the hose should give you a noticeable feel too :D I'm looking at doing all of the above once I've sorted the caliper problem out :D
  15. Just got some Falken's myself so far I've liked them seem a bit more noisy on the tarmac but that could be the dry bearing problem will be able to tell better tomorrow when I've had it fixed :D
  16. Hi welcome to S.O.C

  18. Hi mate welcome to S.O.C Love the Hawkeyes been looking at them myself
  19. I wouldn't let a Cat-D put you off that could have been anything really I've seen some cars be listed Cat-D just from paint damage. the seals around the doors just pull off and pop off on the Impreza I can't see it being to hard. But would think getting another set might be more costly. If you buy it I would maybe look at the seals see if you could re seat them 1st ot try a breakers yard. And breaks from standard discs and pads or cheap ones are really bad a breaking. But might need some new fluid, or upgrade the hoses :)
  20. Very nice looking car :) And welcome to S.O.C
