  1. From a bias view The Subaru is still the better car ;) But do like the other cars. And I drove a Puma for a short time and to be fair it was pretty fun to throw about :) Never drove that sort of Astra did have a 58 plate 1.6 for a little bit too. was ok but couldn't say it would live long in the memory :)
  2. Geez it looks like a full on wind farm :) Ford puma there a good fun little car, but I would be pinch it right back :)
  3. Ohhhh yes as the Churchill dog says :D
  4. Quite night walking the streets then I take it ;)
  5. Hi mate welcome to S.O.C And that's a nice long history list of Subaru's . And think its great that you have set a business up doing what you enjoy. and handy if you have time for us with advise too :D and you never know you might be able to put some work your way we do have a few members on here from your neck of the woods ;)
  6. Brilliant I like that even the Mrs has one too :D
  7. Hmmmmm HKS SSQV :)
  8. Yep loads better without the stickers IMO :)
  9. Yep we was on about this not long ago in another thread some where. :)
  10. That's what my Mrs wanted to do and still says she wishes she had followed it up so hats off to your Mrs for doing what she wanted. :) Well you might also be happy to know I'm taxed again too :D
  11. Need more then that :D
  12. I heard Toyota would only sell one BRZ for every 300 of Toyota 86 version sold so not sure we will see to many of those either :(
  13. Ouch caravan sticker!!! I wouldn't have even driven it off with that in it without removing it 1st :D Well if anyone asks we will all say you are a drug dealer. If its the Police we will go with the midlife crisis. But if she is well fit then you are a caravan enthusiast :D
  14. Ouch yeah can see that being a bit of a kick but as you say get through it. There is another member on here who has a baby on the way and just spent the last of his money on a cam belt. might be willing to share some of his pot noodles with you ;) And funny enough about the Tax I'm just about to go to to the post office and renew mine 2 days late opps :o
  15. Hello mate welcome to S.O.C two very nice looking Scooby's I see there on the profile picture :) Now 3 you have changed the picture :D
  16. I agree did you have the car in winter ? If not wait till the snow comes then the real fun start's. While everyone else is stuck or trying to get around a corner without crashing you will find you're doing it with ease side ways :D And my lights are not the same and there Morette headlights that have a quick release clip on does what it says but impossible to put back on with out removing the battery so not quick to put back :D
  17. Mate of mind is a mechanic. Still have to pay for his time and use of the ramps as he will lose money, he's always fully booked up (guess it's a good sign he knows what he's doing) but I get it a lot cheaper then everyone else and if its a small job most of the time it's free or he will tell me how to doit :D
  18. Caravans do my head in I live near a bunch of caravan parks so get loads near me :( Have a toe bar on the van for the trailer so I know there not all caravan related but if its a pride and joy car they do spoil the look for me :)
  19. Oh I did see the picture's I remember now minds going :)
  20. Yep I have this problem too :D Mind you £2.50 I think I might be able to get away with that even if she did study to be an accountant :D
  21. I must admit Subaru's are one of the easiest cars I've worked with. some things I hate though like the bulbs in the headlights are not to easy to change and spark plugs just seem like a ball ache :( I take it you know Dogma then :) And my grandfather was German use to only ever have VW's he use to drive over twice a year :) But I would always say the change from the Golf to the Subaru was all ways a good idea :D
  22. All I can say is thank god for mates rates :D
  23. I always thought it was welded on but could be wrong. But I agree with you better to take it off I hate to see them. But I do hate caravans so if I see a tow bar I do just automatically think you would be the type of person that gets a plastic glove on before you put any petrol in the car :D
  24. I've not seen Dogma1's car yet why is this. Or has he posted in the gallery without me seeing it :)
  25. Some fantastic pictures mate and some really nice car !Removed! pictures too...... Be right back just need to errrrrrm......
